360º All Day Protection Cream

About the product

Golden balance: 360° protection and health span for your skin

In his Metamorphoses (around 8 AD, Book 1, verses 89–112), Ovid describes the Golden Age: a world in perfect balance, where nature and humanity live in harmony, abundance reigns without excess, and beauty knows no decay. Everything that can thrive does so effortlessly, protected from want and destruction by a natural equilibrium.

This ideal of natural balance and protective power is embraced by the 08 360° All Day Protection Cream. In line with the WHO's "Decade of Healthy Ageing" initiative, RU21 pursues this ideal in a modern form: Healthspan Optimization, meaning the maintenance of healthy skin functions throughout all phases of life. Inspired by our clinical and scientific experience, our formulations are based on the principle of Preventive Longevity. They not only address visible signs of aging but also act preventively against molecular stressors that can contribute to structural skin changes in the long term.

Cosmeceuticals: Science meets nursing

The 08 360º All Day Protection Cream is a cosmeceutical. The term was coined in 1984 by Dr. Albert Kligman – a portmanteau of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals for skincare products that are applied externally like cosmetics but have pharmaceutical-like effects, with scientifically proven benefits and a very low risk profile.

  • For whom?

For all skin types, especially if the skin quickly becomes dry, irritated or reddened during the day and is exposed to a lot of environmental stress (UV, climate, city air).

  • For what?

It supports the skin barrier and hydration, soothes irritation-prone skin and can protect against environmentally induced skin fatigue.

  • What will I see and when?

Instantly, your skin feels smooth and soothed. After a few days, your complexion appears more even and less prone to redness. With consistent use over several weeks, you'll see smoother, more resilient skin with greater everyday comfort. Results may vary from person to person.

Modern Skin Longevity: Protection, Balance and Prevention

The WHO's focus on "Healthy Ageing" centers on lifestyle, environmental factors, and prevention. This is where the 08 360° All Day Protection Cream comes in: it combines active ingredient technology with a scientifically sound, non-invasive skincare approach. The multifunctional formulation of the 08 360° All Day Protection Cream supports the skin in counteracting oxidative stress, regulating silent inflammatory processes, stabilizing moisture levels, and maintaining the extracellular structure. This strengthens the skin's natural function and prevents age-related and environmentally induced changes.
