Accessibility statement

RU21 GmbH strives to make its website https://ru-21.com as accessible as possible. We primarily adhere to the requirements of the German Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) in conjunction with the German Disability Equality Act (BGG), as well as the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) in their currently valid versions. As a private company, RU21 GmbH is not currently legally obligated to provide complete accessibility. However, we proactively align ourselves with these standards to continuously improve accessibility.

Since RU21 GmbH is not a public body, we are not legally obligated to fully implement all requirements. However, we aim to make our digital services accessible to as many users as possible.

Status of compliance with requirements

The website is currently partially compliant with the aforementioned requirements. We are continuously working to identify and reduce existing barriers.

  • Keyboard navigation: Certain interactive areas (e.g., animations, pop-ups, possibly shop modules) are not yet fully operable via keyboard.
  • Forms: Labels, error messages, or assignments of input fields are sometimes not yet fully accessible.
  • PDF/Download documents: Embedded PDF files and other downloads are not consistently available in an accessible format.

These issues will be addressed gradually as part of the ongoing technical development of our website and online shop.

This statement was created on November 18, 2025 , and is based on an internal self-assessment by RU21 GmbH. It is regularly reviewed and updated whenever there are significant changes to the website's structure, content, or functionality. A review is conducted at least annually and whenever significant changes occur.
