The core of our formulations: the lifting complex

The RU21 Radiance Lift™ Complex is also a key ingredient in the O7 PDRN+ Doctors Paradise Serum. It contains, among other things, a biomimetic tripeptide, a molecule that has been shown in preclinical studies (in vitro and ex vivo) to stimulate the synthesis of six key building blocks of the extracellular matrix: collagen types I, III, and IV, hyaluronic acid, fibronectin, and laminin 5. In simpler terms, these elements play a central role in the structural integrity and elasticity of the skin.

The active ingredient palmitoyl-lysyldioxymethionyllysine (also known as palmitoyl tripeptide-38) is among the most advanced peptides in modern dermatological research. As a so-called matrikine mimetic structure, it acts specifically on the extracellular matrix, the environment surrounding skin cells where repair and structural regeneration take place. The extracellular matrix (ECM) is the structural network in the dermis, consisting primarily of collagen, hyaluronic acid, elastin, fibronectin, and laminin. It gives the skin firmness, elasticity, and volume.

As skin ages, the extracellular matrix (ECM) breaks down, leading to wrinkles, sagging skin, and moisture loss. The tripeptide smooths the skin's surface and fills wrinkles from within, rebuilding skin substance, particularly on the forehead and around the eyes, the so-called crow's feet.

Biotechnologically produced hyaluronic acid fragments for deep hydration:

The RU21 Radiance Lift Complex also consists of biotechnologically developed small hyaluronic acid fragments. These stimulate the skin to reactivate its own hyaluronic acid production and simultaneously increase the expression of transport proteins. Studies show that acetylated-modified hyaluronic acid fragments, so-called "signal oligosaccharides," significantly stimulate the synthesis of the skin's own hyaluronic acid and the expression of CD44 receptors. In short, the result is lasting, deep hydration and visibly improved skin elasticity. With continuous use, it provides intensive, long-lasting hydration from within.

Acetylated fragments of hyaluronic acid are a biotechnologically produced active ingredient that supports the skin in producing more of its own hyaluronic acid. In adulthood, the body's own production decreases, the skin becomes drier, loses elasticity, and fine lines and wrinkles appear. Acetylated hyaluronic acid fragments have been shown in peer-reviewed studies (e.g., review by Saturnino et al., Biomed Res Int., 2014) to have higher stability and bioavailability, in addition to antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties compared to conventional hyaluronic acid. In a placebo-controlled study (3% active ingredient cream), a 24% improvement in skin hydration, a 12.5% reduction in mean wrinkle depth, and a 46% reduction in wrinkle density were observed after 4 weeks. After 2 months, the reduction in wrinkle depth was up to 18%. The active ingredient stimulates the skin's natural repair mechanisms and promotes the activation of hyaluronic acid transport proteins. This allows the skin to retain moisture better, appearing smoother and more elastic.

Principle of operation:

Stimulation of structure-forming processes in the dermis, reactivation of moisture regulation, improvement of volume and elasticity

Clinical result:

Visibly firmer skin structure, plumped-up wrinkles, radiant glow
